It’s the final month of 2020 and we know that many of you are eagerly awaiting January 1st to start in on the new challenge. So, to tide you over, here’s a little December mini-challenge!
How it works:
Pick THREE books, each related to one of these December themed words: snow, light, and holiday.
You can choose a December / Christmas themed book or not — totally up to you! (Example: For “holiday” you could pick a book where the main character is on a summer vacation/holiday.)
The word could be related to the book title, cover, setting, theme, etc. It can be a book on your TBR or something new. Let’s get creative and see what we can come up with!
Who’s in?

The December mini-challenge:
- one book related to the word “snow”
- a second book related to the word “light”
- third book related to the word “holiday”
Share your reads in the comments below, or in our Facebook group!
Happy December, everyone!
Snow – Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken. Unfortunately, 2 Stars.
I read The Christmas Light. It is part of the Christmas Shoes series. The whole series, so far, gets 5 stars!
Thank you for this mini-challenge to take us through the rest of 2020! I read Light on Snow by Anita Shreve, which would work for any of the 3 prompts. I am now reading The Light of Evening by Edna O’Brien. Still unsure of my “holiday” choice…
I’m in. I’m sure I have stuff in my list already that’ll fit
Thank you so much for the mini challenge! ~ Kayla Marie
